When we’re low on energy or not feeling great, it’s easy to get caught up in searching far and wide for answers. We’ll find something, then immediately discard it because we aren’t seeing results.
The funny thing is that we are often actually making changes, despite thinking we’re not.
Healing is not a linear process. We don’t go from A to B to C and so on. Instead, we may go from A to X and back to B, moving all over the place. It may not make sense, but over time, we make micro-changes that come back to us in the here and now.
We create a ripple in our healing timelines, slowly changing the patterns (many we’re not aware we have) that cause us pain and discomfort.
Qi gong is a multidimensional mind-body meditative movement that works in harmony with this principle. By slowly performing the movements, we build, reprogram, and change our past, present, and future.
Since this is how the universe functions, qi gong is very effective because it follows the same rhythm. In this way, the results are deeper, affecting the deeper layers and aspects of ourselves that need healing.
Pretty amazing, right?

My Visit to the Body Mind Spirit Expo
The Body Mind Spirit Expo is a smorgasbord of holistic healing modalities and spiritual offerings with tons of vendors and presenters from Activate Austin's School of Healing to Nature's Treasures Crystal Store. The Expo will in Chicago next and then travel to many other cities over the next several months.
I had the pleasure of attending the Expo this weekend In Austin and enjoyed listening to a few talks and meeting many holistic practitioners and healers.
I had a DNA Activation Session with Emily Michele Berry from Activate Austin that I found to be very therapeutic.
I attended a talk by Beate Medina on connecting with higher vibrational energIes that included a relaxing guided meditation. She is a Certified Transformational Coach & Performance Relaxation Practitioner at Waves on Wings. I also had a mini session with her that was relaxing and informative.
I got to speak with Art Jackson of Blue Dog Productions and peruse his table of lovely Arkansas crystals, including this lovely specimen:
I enjoyed crystal shopping at Nature's Treasures' table as well. As usual, they carried a number of beautiful rocks and jewelry pieces.
This was my first time at the Body Mind Spirit Expo and certainly won't be my last. I look forward to potentially have a table there as well in the future!
